When the new NBA season started, we have witnessed LeBron James unveil his new Nike Air Max LeBron VIII while Kobe Bryant sported the Nike Zoom Kobe V “Five Rings”. But as the season goes on, we’ll be seeing Kobe wearing his new signature sneaker, the Nike Zoom Kobe VI.
As far as I can remember, the Nike Zoom Kobe VI “Del Sol” is already the second colorway of Kobe’s signature sneaker. The new “Del Sol” color scheme uses black as the base which they accentuated with “Del Sol” orange on the back of the tongue, heel side of the outsole, and Nike swoosh on the side panels. Highlights of white are also used on the Zoom Kobe insignia on the tongue, and on the outsole for additional accents. The upper of the Zoom Kobe VI is made up of reptile skin-like material with touch of mesh and fabric on the tongue and insole, and synthetic on the heel area.
The release of the Nike Zoom Kobe VI “Del Sol” is scheduled in December 2010 at select retailers and online stores including eastbay.
