D@ Prince was asked by a client to create hot customs for BET’s Spring Bling, the network’s spring break event. He turned some basic Nike Blazers into the Bio-Leopard Nike Blazers to meet the client’s requests. I found these photos at the D@ Prince post linked here.

The Bio-Leopard Blazers get their name from the bright leopard print used across the shoe. The neon green background allows the black spots to jump off the shoe. D@ Prince matched the background green with the shoe laces to ensure that his client would stand out in the Spring Bling crowd.

The designer went beyond the obvious shock value of neon green with pink Nike swooshes…

If the spring god of mythology were to show up suddenly in America, which brand would he be sporting? We’re pretty certain that he wouldn’t think twice if offered this lovely creation from Puma, which looks more like a poem than an item of footwear.

These shoes look like they’re about to sprout some branches and blossoms. Especially the bright green laces add an incredibly fresh and expressive touch symbolizing the season of rebirth and regeneration. The lines and contours of the design are also youthful and modern, and suit the regeneration theme very well. Overall, we really love this one from Puma.

Nike SB Dunk High in New Color

This pair of sneakers is the new Nike SB Dunk High to be released in Fall 2009.  Nike has not yet announced the official date for the release of these shoes.

The New Nike SB Dunk High is artistically designed by using a combination of suede and leather textile. The dominant part of this sneakers is made of a suede material with the leather only found on the Nike swoosh on the side panels.  This suede material is highlighted in hazelnut brown which is seen on the entire upper and includes accents of gray found on the suede front area and blue on the Nike swoosh.

Recently, Nike have teamed up with a well-known brand in Japan, SLY, to produce a set of women’s Terminator High Premiums in two colorways. These pair of sneakers is surely worthy of attention.  The shoes feature a triangular perforation and mix of bright colors such as blue, violet and black with a hint of pink and orange.

Vans is definitely putting a stop on its design this year with an all-star line-up of outstanding sneakers.  The latest is a team up with Slayer and Vans on a Owens Hi model.

A Slayer X Vans Owens HI design has a subtle touch of red, both present in its two colors white and black.  One model has a white leather upper with a hint of red and black.  White the other model features black suede leather with a hint of red as its accents.  The word, ‘Slayer’ covers the heel in red as well.

Nike and Nike Sportswear have done an amazing job with the modernization of their classic sneakers.  They improved the Nike Cortez sneaker lightweight and flexibility.  They also improved the colorways into a more clean and neat appeal.

The Zoom Fun Police is Nike’s newest hybrid sneaker that has appeared on certain Nike retailers but only with a limited size release. Only Gradeschool (GS) sizes are available, for now the grown up sneakerheads will have to wait a while to get their foot on these fine pair of Nike Hybrid Sneaker Zoom Police shoes.
